Sourdough Bake Along
Learn to bake the perfect loaf of sourdough bread in this online Bake Along. We will bake together, start to finish in a fun, casual setting.

This is an on and off call, the process happens over the course of two days. Class will be recorded if you can’t make it, but the calls will be open for questions…below is the schedule and supplies needed.
Schedule:
Start:
Saturday: 9 am we will feed our starters and chat…
next call: 3 pm making the dough 20-
3:30 pm 5 min The fold technique and fermentation
4 pm 5 min optional
4:30 pm 5 min optional
5 pm 5 min
Sunday:
8 am shaping the dough 10 min
8:30am shaping continued… 5-10 min
8 pm Scoring and Final bake. 5-10 min.
Supplies you will need: you can do this super minimal if you don’t have all the optional items. I’ll show you other options for all the “optional"items, but ultimately you will be so happy to have each thing, as it will make the process smoother and more enjoyable for you.
Active starter, you can purchase it online or in our store if you don't have one already
A large bowl
white bread flour
rye flour (optional but recommended for feeding your starter)
whole wheat flour (optional, I will be using some, you choose)
Kitchen Scale
Sea salt or pink Himalayan
semolina or rice flour
Bowl and bench scraper (optional)
Lame/razor blade (or very sharp knife, lame preferred)
Bowl covers-ours are perfect for the job! (Optional, preferred)
Banneton (Optional but preferred)
Dutch oven (optional, I’ll teach you a trick if you don’t have one)
Silicone bread baking mat (or parchment)
SHIPPING:
We ship everything 100% plastic free using up-cycled and/or post consumer recycled cardboard boxes, packing paper, and compostable paper tape.
